The Founder

Desiree Goldey doesn't believe in hiring for hiring's sake. She believes in building the systems that make great hiring inevitable.

Based in Austin, Texas, Desiree Goldey has spent nearly a decade doing the work most organizations don't realize they need until it's too late — building the recruiting infrastructure, operational frameworks, and people strategies that allow high-growth companies to scale without losing what made them worth joining.

That work has a track record behind it. She has led teams of 50+ recruiters across 40+ client accounts, delivered 18 executive placements in six months, increased recruiter productivity by 30%, and improved first-year retention by 32%. Not through luck or hustle — through deliberate system design. She has worked with organizations from Series B startups to $200M+ global talent advisory firms across SaaS, healthcare, finance, and GTM.

She currently serves as a Senior Consultant at HR Data Labs and a strategic advisor to RoundOne.ai — an AI-powered candidate screening platform built to bring consistency, speed, and human-centered intelligence to the first round of hiring. Her advisory work sits at the intersection of talent strategy and responsible technology: helping organizations adopt tools that augment human judgment rather than replace it.

She co-hosts the Talentless podcast — unscripted, honest conversations with recruiting and HR leaders about what it actually takes to build talent functions that work. She is also a contributing author in My Life, My Legacy, a published anthology rooted in the belief that the most powerful leadership starts with personal truth.
